How to Join the Community

Applications to the AGIVP Community are reviewed on a rolling basis by our membership committee. We welcome individuals from diverse backgrounds who are actively engaged in AGI research, development, or governance.

Frequently Asked Questions

Members gain access to exclusive events, collaboration opportunities, funding possibilities, and a global network of AGI experts. You'll participate in working groups that shape industry standards and have opportunities to influence the development of ethical AGI technologies.

There is no fee to join the AGIVP Community. We aim to be inclusive and accessible to qualified individuals from diverse backgrounds. However, members are expected to actively contribute their expertise and time to community initiatives.

The time commitment varies based on your level of involvement. At minimum, members are expected to participate in quarterly meetings and occasional working group sessions. More active roles, such as working group leads, require approximately 5-10 hours per month.

We follow a principle of responsible transparency. Research papers, technical standards, and policy recommendations developed by the community are typically published openly. Working discussions remain private to enable candid exchange, but summaries and outcomes are shared publicly through our website and publications.
